Storyline: In 2004, in a palace in Bhawanigarh, Rajasthan, a group of priests capture an angry spirit hell-bent on attacking a member of the Thakur family, and trap it inside a room. The family abandon the palace, leaving it deserted. In present-day Himachal Pradesh, Ruhaan Randhawa meets Reet Thakur, who is travelling home for her wedding on a bus to Chandigarh.
The two miss their bus to attend a music festival. The bus they were supposed to be on falls into a ditch and all the passengers die. Reet attempts to contact her family, who assume she has died; over the phone, she overhears that her cousin and her fiancé are actually in love and did not want Reet’s wedding to happen. Reet decides to play dead for a while so that her fiancé and cousin can marry instead. Reet and Ruhaan reach Bhawanigarh and hide in the deserted ancestral palace, where the spirit is trapped.
